offers walking paths through groves of redwood, fir and
eucalyptus trees, plus picnic areas, and nearby tennis courts
and playground. During the summer months, a series of free
Sunday afternoon concerts take place in a natural open-air
amphitheater.

SF PRESIDIO'S CRISSY FIELD

| Crissy Field is a favorite with locals and visitors alike, a place to walk or bike on a flat promenade by the bay and to bring the family for a class, exhibit, or performance at the Crissy Field Center. A wide, fully accessible trail slices through Crissy Field between Marina Green and Fort Point and is perfect for an easy walk, jog, or bike, or for strollers and wheelchairs. Crissy Field's beach shoreline provides both indoor and outdoor amenities, including a well-maintained promenade trail, beaches, picnic tables, tidal marsh overlooks, and a nationally renowned windsurfing site, as well as cafés, bookstores, and an environmental education center. |

| The Golden Gate Recreation Area and National Park is one of the largest urban parks in the world. The approximately
70,000 acres include open green spaces, abandoned military
installations, miles of coastline and a number of popular Bay Area
attractions including (on the San Francisco side) the Presidio, Fort
Point (Civil War-era fort open for tours), Fort Mason and Golden
Gate Promenade and (on the Marin side) Bay Area Discovery Museum,
Forts Cronkhite and Barry, Point Bonita Lighthouse, and Rodeo Beach. |

| Yerba Buena Gardens is located in the South of Market area of San Francisco above the Moscone Convention Center. Yerba Buena Gardens covers two square city blocks bounded by Mission, Folsom, Third and Fourth Streets. One block features a 2-1/2 acre grassy meadow (The Esplanade), an extensively landscaped garden, a 120 thousand-gallon waterfall, a memorial dedicated to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, several fountains and major works of public art. The Children’s block, or Rooftop, features Zeum, an arts and technology museum for children and youth, a historic Carousel, Ice Skating and Bowling Centers, a two acre interactive play garden and much more. The site is also the home of five cafes and the Center for the Arts visual and performing arts buildings. |
